SEK crowned Best Agency in Continental Europe at The SABRE Awards EMEA

The winners of the SABRE Awards – one of the world’s biggest PR competitions – were announced in London. SEK continued its winning streak, familiar from both domestic and international competitions, by winning the title of Continental European Agency of the Year. SEK also took home wins in five campaign categories.

SEK’s winning campaigns were:

Statistics Finland & SEK: Facts Over Noise (Category: Combating Disinformation)

Reissumies & SEK: ManUp – No one grows into a good man alone (Categories: Celebrity Collaboration and Marketing to Men)

Liikenneturva & SEK: The Street Dumb Trick List – e-scoot campaign so dumb, it’s genius (Category: Behavioural Science)

Finavia & SEK: Sauna Transit: Helsinki Airport opened the world’s first runway sauna (Category: Nordics Finland)

SEK also received one Certificate of Excellence, awarded for its Sauna Transit campaign with Finavia in the Business/Trade Media category.

‘This year’s SABRE Awards reflected the rise of Finnish PR & communications expertise to Europe’s top tier. Winning the Agency of the Year is a great example of this and it speaks to the consistency of our work over time: strategy, creativity and the ability to deliver real impact. We are so grateful to our clients and partners who dare to trust bold ideas,’ says Paula Sonne, Business Director at SEK.

‘For over 90 years, SEK has been built on the core belief that the world’s most dangerous ideas deserve the safest possible home. Over the past five years, we have earned more than 50 nominations and well over a dozen wins at the SABRE Awards EMEA. The work and success of previous years have brought us to this point, and achieving this honour tells us we’re doing things right,’ says Janne Malinen, Client Director at SEK.

This year’s EMEA competition received more than 2 000 entries. The awards were held for the 18th time.
