Tribeca scoops three wins in the PRovoke SABRE Awards Africa 2021
Tribeca Public Relations has won three gold awards across three categories in the PRovoke SABRE Awards Africa 2021, and also received a certificate of excellence in the Southern Africa region.
The agency won the Marketing to Consumers (Existing Product) and the Healthcare categories for its “Stay Well with SOLAL” campaign, which also received a Certificate of Excellence for the Southern Africa category.
The campaign raised awareness of and destigmatises mental health issues among South Africans, and increased sales of SOLAL’s stress range, despite South Africa being in the throes of the COVID-19 lockdown. A comprehensive paid, earned, shared and owned media approach that started in February 2020 and culminated in an influencer campaign around World Mental Health Day in October 2020, saw the campaign team exceed all objectives.
The agency’s campaign for global energy management company, Eaton, won the Industrial/Manufacturing category. The campaign positioned Eaton as an energy management leader at a time when the country was plunged into an energy and economic crisis by reinstated load-shedding. The campaign saw Eaton become widely regarded as a strategic energy partner that not only advocates renewable energy solutions, but also supports utilities’ capabilities.
‘I’m so proud of our team and clients for these wins as they highlight the amazing results that Tribeca’s consistent approach to the fundamentals of strong public relations can achieve,’ says Nicky James, managing director of Tribeca Public Relations. ‘2020 will undoubtedly go down in history as the year that changed everything, and despite this, our team truly came together for our clients and produced incredible results for them.’
This is only the second year that Tribeca has entered the PRovoke SABRE Awards Africa, and its wins in all the categories it entered in 2021 follow a similar haul of wins in 2020, when it took home gold awards in the Business to Business Marketing, Corporate Image, and Marketing to Consumers (Existing Product) categories.
