duomedia launches engaging digital content platform

duomedia, Brussels-based B2B content & PR agency, has announced the launch of its new digital content platform – enhancing client communication in a social, trackable and visual way. This large-scale project demonstrates the pan-European agency’s client and media engagement, and its innovative services approach.

duomedia developed the new website with flashy 3D-bannering around the city concept, being a (pro)active guide for its clients, associations and trade media throughout today’s complex communication maze. Every web page is a city corner – broadcast tower for the newsroom, park for the community page, billboard for integrated B2B client cases, etc. Yet duomedia continues to embrace print media channels – underpinned by a solid strategy and a content cross-media approach that most efficiently reaches audiences in their respective markets.

Louis De Nolf, duomedia’s managing partner and chief PRchitect of the new digital platform, commented, ‘The previous website and newsroom served its purpose to the media but nowadays news is not just consulted by journalists anymore – also company stakeholders, associations and distributors are using this as source of information, alongside the social media and other online channels. It is important to get them engaged and mobilised in order to gain full acceptance of brands and technologies.

‘It was time for a change, we needed something visually dynamic and attractive to publish our news, and create an interactive communication platform. The newsroom is the beating heart of the site and guides journalists and analysts to the right places, whilst clients’ sales teams and their customers can easily track the latest news, tweets, videos and images – in all languages.’

Adaptable formats – boosting online ranking & visibility.

‘It was quite a challenge on the technical side as we needed our website to be entirely up to speed with the latest technology and today’s communication requirements. Web pages are automatically adapted to smartphones, tablets, small and large screens so information can be consulted anytime anywhere – in different file formats and languages.’ explained Sébastien Le Roux, duomedia’s director Operations & Services.

‘Another challenge was the content feed, as this is driven from duomedia’s internal duogate ERM system where all news releases, articles and PR content are processed for media distribution – so the right links and connections had to be created to make sure both systems were perfectly synchronized. To this end, duomedia worked closely and successfully with the web agency and its IT consultancy firm.

‘The new digital newsroom extends the life of news releases by reaching out to client stakeholders directly, whilst driving media with content for their online and print publications. We are confident the newsroom will be a great addition to our clients’ digital marketing efforts and help boost their online visibility.’

Anja D’Hondt, managing director of duomedia, concluded, ‘We are all very excited by this new website as it’s a content service with great social functionality. It does more justice to our skills and talents, and offers clients, associations and journalists an even better service. Our PRchitects are now ready for the new communication challenges ahead!’
