Global recognition – Konftel named best in class
Konftel has been recognised with the Customer Value Leadership Award 2018. This Best Practices Award is presented by the distinguished US analysis firm Frost & Sullivan. ‘We are, of course, extremely honored to receive this award, which gives us an extra boost as we launch video in our conference solutions,’ said Peter Renkel, CEO of Konftel.
In explaining its choice for the 2018 Global Tabletop Audio Conferencing Endpoints Customer Value Leadership Award, Frost & Sullivan writes that Konftel has a broad and compelling solutions portfolio and a reputation for solid product quality. It also points out that the broad functionality offered by Konftel meets a clear customer need and predicts that Konftel is set to disrupt the whole market with its launch of video capability. ‘Konftel follows an innovation-led approach backed by significant R&D expertise and excellent design skills to address customers’ changing needs,’ said Vaishno Devi Srinivasan, Industry Analyst, Unified Communications and Collaboration, at Frost & Sullivan. ‘Being named best in the industry is huge for us and confirms that after 30 years, we are still able to maintain the right pace of development without losing focus on the customer experience. We have received design awards before, but being acknowledged for our entire product portfolio and our top quality feels fantastic,’ said Peter Renkel.
The Konftel Unite app, which makes it significantly easier for the user to start a distance meeting, and the Zero Touch Installation (ZTI) function, which assists with the installation of IP products, are both cited as strong reasons for the award. Other criteria that Frost & Sullivan takes into consideration are price, customer purchase experience, service, user experience, and the Konftel brand itself. Analysts also look at business criteria, such as the company’s efficiency and financial stability, not to mention Konftel’s growth potential.
Konftel’s drive to always offer exceptional sound quality through its proprietary audio technology, OmniSound, is another key factor highlighted by Frost & Sullivan. Today’s conference phones are increasingly used in small huddle rooms and other more ad-hoc meeting venues. This places tougher demands on the product’s sound optimization capabilities, since these spaces often lack noise absorbers or other acoustic features.
‘Konftel’s patented OmniSound technology provides significant audio intelligibility, which is the most essential ingredient for productive meetings. The incorporation of OmniSound technology across its product portfolio is a testament to Konftel’s rigorous understanding of customers’ audio quality expectations,’ said Vaishno Devi Srinivasan. The analysis firm also singles out the wireless products Konftel 300Wx and Konftel 300Mx, praising their talk time (60 and 30 hours respectively) and usability, particularly when combined with the Konftel Unite app.
Frost & Sullivan concludes its analysis by looking forward and asserting that Konftel is set to disrupt the traditional conference phone market with the launch of its new audio-video conference bundle. As a strong player with a focus on customer benefits and superb sound quality, Konftel is predicted to excel with this launch. ‘Growing adoption of video among enterprises provides Konftel with ample opportunities to sell its audio-video conference bundle into huddle meeting spaces that are predominantly dominated by audio today,’ Vaishno Devi Srinivasan rounds off. All these points informed Frost & Sullivan’s decision to recognise Konftel with the 2018 Customer Value Leadership Award.
