Canon launches new imageRUNNER ADVANCE multi-function printers
The imageRUNNER ADVANCE C256/356 series builds on the successful imageRUNNER ADVANCE C255 and imageRUNNER ADVANCE C355 series, providing businesses with a modern all-in-one device capable of print speeds of up to 35 pages per minute. Accessed via an easy-to-use 10.1-inch colour touchscreen, the devices are compactly built to suit a wide range of modern business environments, from home office users and SMEs to large office buildings.
Combining Canon’s V2 Colour technology with improved drum capabilities and new CS toners which improve document durability and colour stability, the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C256/356 series ensure consistently stunning results, even during high-volume print jobs. Users can also access a range of enhanced processing features including the staple and collate function to deliver professional quality outputs, while saving valuable time.
The versatile imageRUNNER ADVANCE C256/356 series can be used for effortless document management, thanks to compatibility with Canon’s uniFLOW and Therefore software, which provides a centralised solution to control printing and scanning across an entire fleet. Productivity can be further enhanced thanks to mobile print functionality, which allows users to perform print and scan jobs on-the-go.
Leveraging a direct wireless connection, users can access applications such as the Canon mobile app, Canon’s PRINT Business, Apple AirPrint and Mopria, while the Universal Login Manger (ULM) helps them to manage costs and set up a print policy.
As well as ensuring secure user access, the devices’ advanced scanning functionality also gives users the opportunity to share documents with multiple cloud platforms including Google Drive, Evernote and Dropbox.
The new MFPs simplify the management and application of security settings and policies, with the latest security standards including HDD Encryption, common criteria certification, IP/MAC address filter, IPSEC and new wireless LAN authentication coming as standard.
With industry leading Typical Electricity Consumption (TEC), the devices offer a low energy consumption (0.8W in sleep mode) and incorporates a sustainable design of recycled materials and bio-plastic to help minimise environmental impact. Finally, all the models are certified with the Energy Star certification and the latest stringent Blue Angel certification.
