Cartoon Network launches new show

Cartoon Network is excited to announce that the hit animated series, We Bare Bears, will launch its much awaited third season on DStv, channel 301 early in 2017. Created by Annie Award-winner, Daniel Chong, the comedy series follows three endearing bear siblings, Grizzly, Panda and Ice Bear (respectively voiced by Eric Edelstein, Bobby Moynihan, and Demetri Martin) and their awkward attempts at integrating into human society.

Season three will continue with the comedic adventures of Grizzly, Panda and Ice Bear as they navigate their way through the Bay Area and beyond. The brand new episodes will see the return of favorite friends (and frenemies), including Nom Nom (voiced by Patton Oswalt), Chloe (voiced by Charlyne Yi), Charlie (voiced by Jason Lee), Lucy (voiced by Ellie Kemper) and Ranger Tabes (voiced by Cameron Esposito). New guest stars include comedian, actor and writer Ron Funches and notable actor, voice actor and comedian, known for his gruff voice, John DiMaggio.

Season two began airing earlier this year and the show is averaging a global reach of 29.5 million kids for 2016 to date, while in South Africa, the series has reached 2,6 million kids.

Luckily fans of We Bare Bears don’t have to wait for 2017 to follow the three brother bears awkwardly attempting to find their place in civilised society, whether they’re looking for food, trying to make human friends, or scheming to become famous on the internet, as they can catch the new episodes from the current season of We Bare Bears on DStv Channel 301 on weekends at 11:50 CAT.

We Bare Bears is produced by Cartoon Network Studios and is one of the network’s global franchises along with old-time favourites Adventure Time, The Powerpuff Girls, and the action-filled Ben 10.
